SÉAN MCCANN is a founder of the iconic Canadian band GREAT BIG SEA and a recipient of the ORDER OF CANADA for his MENTAL HEALTH + RECOVERY advocacy. Sober since 2009, SÉAN has spent the last ten years touring the country as a musical keynote speaker and acclaimed solo concert performer singing and sharing his story with everyone willing to listen and singalong.

Kellie Loder Saturday November 9 - 7:30 pm

Described as, “a multi-genre marvel” by Hidden-Beats, Kellie’s musical journey began on the shores of Newfoundland, lending to their unmatched songwriting prowess, and distinctive blend of folk, Americana and indie pop influences.

Loder’s signature sound coupled with their magnetic stage presence has earned them notable accolades including, “Songwriter of the Year”, and “Fan’s Choice Entertainer of the Year” at the 2023 East Coast Music Awards, placing first-runner-up on Canada’s Got Talent (2022), and co-writing with household names such as Alan Doyle, Steven Page, The Good Lovelies, and Grammy award-winning musician and producer, Greg Wells to name a few. Loder’s empowering anthem, “Fearless” was used as the soundtrack behind the CBC’s Tokyo Olympics coverage and in the Superpower Dogs IMAX
Trailer.

Their groundbreaking video and compelling song “Molded Like A Monster” was recognized with the 2021 ECMA Video of the Year Award and the MusicNL Ron Hynes Songwriter of the Year Award.

Weldon Matthews Theatre

The Weldon Matthews Theatre is in Florenceville-Bristol, NB, and is located in the Carleton North High School. The theatre is the main venue for the performances presented by the Carleton-Victoria Arts Council. Located along the scenic St. John River valley in rural western New Brunswick, area residents from several small communities from Perth-Andover to Woodstock and beyond enjoy the intimate setting of this soft-seat venue. Approximately 400 seats are contained in twelve rows with centre, left and right sections.
